A horizontal laminar airflow unit (also called a laminar flow clean bench) is a device that draws air through a HEPA filter and delivers it horizontally across the work surface to remove contaminants and maintain sterility.
The airflow moves from the back of the unit toward the operator, creating a clean air curtain over the working area.
