A static pass box (SPB) is a non-powered transfer chamber installed between two areas (cleanroom to non-cleanroom or same-class cleanroom zones). It allows safe transfer of materials while minimizing contamination risks.
Unlike dynamic pass boxes, static pass boxes do not have fans or HEPA filters—they rely on interlocking doors and sealed construction.
